Amazon is creating a smartphone that will compete with Apple’s iPhone and Android based-phones such as Samsung Galaxy S III, reports BloomBerg. According to BloomBerg’s ‘people with knowledge of the matter’, Chinese mobile manufacturer, Foxconn, is working with Amazon to create the smartphone. It’s also said that Amazon is acquiring patents to protect itself from patent litigation of Apple or Microsoft. No more detail of the device were given. But it might be an iPhone killer or another reskinned-Android device. Who knows.
