A new report suggests that Chinese are up to no good in Apple’s App Store. As reported by People.cn, around 58,000 apps were removed from the Chinese App App store within a two week period, between June 10 and 21. The report states that 33.5 percent of the removed apps were in the gaming category.

The report cites Beijing-based data analysis platform Thepaper.cn, ASO 100, who discovered the large amount of apps removed from the Chinese App Store during the past two weeks. According to the analysis firm, just on June 15 22,000 apps were removed from the App Store, a number reportedly 6 to 10 times greater than the amount of apps Apple usually removes on daily basis. The firm suggests that Apple is cleaning and regulating the Chinese App Store.
