AT&T to block stolen phones and tablet from their network next week

    -

The age of buying cheap stolen iPhone on Craiglist is coming to an end. Starting next week July 10th, AT&T will start a service to block and report stolen phones from their network, according to statement sent to the Verge. Stolen devices will be denied to receive voice, data and SMS access services. As reported back in April, US carriers are creating a database of  lost or stolen devices from any network. If you try to register a stolen device to your account, your account will be suspended from AT&T. This will service will include pre-paid (GoPhone), and contract account.
