AT&T now enabling FaceTime over cellular to all users

Apparently, AT&T is extending the use of FaceTime over 3G/4G data to all of its customers regardless of what data plans or device they have. At the beginning of this month, the carrier announced that FaceTime over cellular on iOS 6 would be available to customers with a “tiered data plan” and an iPhone 5 only, excluding iPhone 4/4S and users with grandfathered unlimited data.

Many AT&T customers are reporting that AT&T is now allowing all users to use FaceTime over cellular, even those on iPhone 4/4S or with grandfathered unlimited data plan. The reports started  on MacRumors forums, where member kre62 says that his iPhone 5 on unlimited data now make FaceTime calls over cellular after he rebooted the phone and turned on FaceTime over cellular from the settings.
