If you’re a fan of HBO series, movies and documentaries, you’ll soon be able to watch those shows on your PS3 or PS4. After partnering with  HBO CEO Richard Plepler, PlayStation announced on its blog that the HBO GO app will be released for the PlayStation 3 and later PS4. As always, the app will require an HBO subscription through a cable or satellite provider.
With the HBO GO app on your PlayStation system and an HBO subscription via your cable or satellite provider, you’ll have unlimited, on-demand access to your favorite HBO shows, like Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire and True Detective. HBO GO offers every episode of every season of the network’s best shows. You can also enjoy hit movies, sports, documentaries, and comedy specials, as well as special behind-the-scenes extras.
