Verizon on Tuesday unveiled its most powerful Android phone, the Motorola DROID MAXX. The DROID MAXX has the most powerful battery on any smartphone right now according to Verizon. The DROID MAXX has a non–removable 3500 mAh Li–Ion battery that can last up 48-hours and 25 days on standby, says Verizon. The phone also sports a 10–megapixel rear camera that can shoot 1080p HD videos. The front-facing camera of the phone is a 2 MP HD camera. In front of the phone you’ll see a 2 MP HD camera and a 720p 5-inch display protected by Gorilla Glass. Internally the phone is packed with a 1.7 GHz Dual Core processor with Quad–Core Graphics, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. It’s powered by Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean as its operating system.
The device can be pre-ordered right now for $299 with two year-contract ($699 no contract) and will be shipped by August 20.
