Unlike Android devices, there are no alternative keyboards on the iPhone. On Android, if you want a different keyboard like Swype all you have to do is download it from Google Play. iPhone and iPad users cannot download alternative keyboards from the App Store, they have to use the one provided by Apple in iOS 7; every iPhone users use the same iPhone keyboard with the same functionalities.
Thankfully this is a bit different if your device is jailbroken. A new tweak named “AltKeyboard 2‘ makes the iPhone keyboard easier to use while adding more functionalities. AltKeyboard 2 makes easier to use non-alphabetic or capital characters without having to switch the keyboard modes every time you use non-alphabetic characters, this makes typing faster on iOS. For faster text edit like copy, cut, and paste, all you have to is slide the space button up and the options will show up.
The tweak is available on Cydia for $3. It’s compatible with iOS 7 and all iPhone models. The tweak will not work with your iPad yet.
