This nice and useful chart put together by PC mag shows a comparison between AT&T, Sprint and Verizon on their price for their plans that will help you decide which carrier is the best choice for you and your iPhone 4S.
If you want Mobile Hotspot, Verizon and AT&T won’t try to rape you this time. They include this service in their data plan that are 4GB and above, Verizon only including it on 4GB, 7GB and 12GB data plans. On Sprint you will have to pay $29 if you want Mobile Hotspot.
The chart reveals that you monthly payments will be cheaper on Sprint compared to AT&T and Verizon. And at the end of the contract, after two years, you will also end up paying less if you choose Sprint as your carrier.
So which is the best and cheapest carrier? That depend. I wouldn’t recommend you choosing the carrier based on which one is the cheapest. You should pick the carrier that has the best coverage around the city in which you live in. For example, we know Sprint is the cheapest and offers the most, but in a lot of cities Sprint has worse coverage than Metro PCS [Peace of Sht]; you don’t want to have unlimited data and everything with a shitty service, right? That’s why you should join the carrier that has the best coverage around your area, even if it’s more expensive as long as you’re not receiving less than four bars.
