Verizon Confirms Their LTE Phones Won’t Be Compatible With Other Carriers

    -

4G LTEUnlocking phone is great to use a branded/carrier phone in another carrier to use the phone that you want with the carrier you want, but that won’t work so good here in the U.S. with Verizon and AT&T upcoming LTE 4G network. According to a PCMag report,  AT&T and Verizon LTE implementations won’t be compatible to each others due to Verizon designing their phone so they work only on specific wireless frequency.

Thinking of unlocking a Verizon Wireless LTE phone for use on AT&T’s network, or vice versa? Think again. Verizon Wireless confirmed today that its LTE phones will not “be compatible on other LTE networks in the U.S.” because “the phones will be on different frequencies,” according to Verizon spokeswoman Brenda Raney.
