Apple’s latest iOS is finally here. iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch owners can download iOS 6 for their device right now. This update — which promises over 200 new features — can be downloaded through iTunes or straight from your web browser. Users who currently have iOS 5 installed on their device can download and install iOS 6 straight from the device by going to Settings> General> Software Update. iPhone 5 owners won’t have to worry about this, their shiny phone will come with iOS 6 pre-installed.
The other way to download iOS 6 is by downloading the IPSW file directly of Apple’s server. To download iOS 6 directly from Apple server, select your device below and the link will download the firmware file. After that, all you’ll have to do is click Restore (on iTunes) + Shift (Option) and locate the IPSW file.
