For those waiting for the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 untethered jailbreak, the jailbreak is not that far away from us. iOS hackers known as planetbeing who’s working on the untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4S and iPad 2, has currently announce an update on the jailbreak. Planetbeing tweeted that the jailbreak for A5 chip iOS devices is now out of the sandbox after receiving some help from Cydia’s founder Saurik. This means that the jailbreak should be out soon. He also say that the unlock for iPhone 4S baseband is harder than the iPhone 4 baseband X-Gold 618.
And we’re out of the sandbox with @saurik‘s invaluable help! (well, at least there’s a PoC)

So after all we will be getting an unlock for the iPhone 4S. The wait for this jailbreak is worth.
